Monkey Remembers: Notes, Tasks (āthe appā, āweā, āusā) is a simple note-taking and reminder app for iPhone. This policy explains, in plain language, how the app handles your information.
The short version: your notes stay on your device and in your own iCloud account. We donāt run servers that store your notes, and we canāt read them.

We do not collect your notes. Everything you write or dictate is stored locally on your device, and ā if you have iCloud turned on ā in your own iCloud account.
We do not collect, transmit, sell, or have access to any of your note content. There is no account to create and no sign-in.
If iCloud is enabled on your device, the app keeps your notes in sync across your devices using Appleās iCloud infrastructure. This data lives in your personal iCloud account and is governed by Appleās Privacy Policy. We never see or have access to this data. If iCloud is turned off, the app works fully offline and your notes stay only on your device.
When you create a note by voice, the app uses Appleās speech recognition (SFSpeechRecognizer) to turn your speech into text. Depending on your device and settings, this happens on-device or via Appleās servers, and is governed by Appleās Privacy Policy. The microphone is only used while you are actively dictating a note. We do not record, store, or transmit audio ourselves.
Alarms are delivered as local notifications scheduled on your device. No data is sent to any server to make notifications work.
When you choose to copy a note, its text is placed on your deviceās clipboard. When you choose to share a note, its text is handed to the standard iOS share sheet so you can send it to another app you pick (e.g. Messages or Mail). These actions happen only when you tap Copy or Share, and where the content goes from there is governed by the apps and services you select. We donāt intercept, store, or transmit this content ourselves.
We do not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs. We do not track you across apps or websites. There are no ad identifiers and no profiling.
The app does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children under 13. Since we donāt collect data at all, there is nothing for us to gather about children.
If we update this policy, weāll revise the āLast updatedā date above and include the new version with an app update. Significant changes will be highlighted in the appās release notes.
