Privacy Policy — PDF Converter

This privacy policy explains how the PDF Converter app (the “App”) handles user data. The App is developed by Murat Kul (“we”, “the developer”).

Summary

PDF Converter works entirely on your device. We have no servers and you don’t need an account; your documents, photos, and the PDFs you create never leave your device. To improve the App and to measure advertising install conversions, we collect anonymous, aggregated usage analytics (see “Analytics” below). We do not collect your advertising identifier (IDFA) and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

Data We Collect

The App:

• Does not collect personal information such as your name, email, or phone number.
• Does not require an account or login.
• Does not upload your documents, photos, or generated PDFs to any server.
• Collects anonymous, aggregated usage analytics through Google Firebase Analytics (see “Analytics” below).

How Your Content Is Processed

• Photos and documents: The photos you select and the documents you scan are processed only on your device and converted to PDF. This content stays on your device.
• Camera: The document scanning feature uses the camera only while you are actively scanning. Images are not stored or sent.
• Saving files: You may, at your own choice, save the PDFs you create to the Files app or iCloud Drive on your device. iCloud usage runs through Apple’s infrastructure and is subject to Apple’s privacy policy.

Analytics

To improve the App and to measure the install conversions of our advertising, we use Google Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated usage data — for example which features are used, purchase events, app opens, and session/device information (such as app version, device model, and country).

We do not collect your advertising identifier (IDFA), and we do not ask for tracking permission because we do not track you across other apps or websites. The content of your documents, the text or photos you process, and the PDFs you create are never included in analytics and never leave your device.

Purchases

The App offers a one-time purchase to unlock premium features. All payment processing is handled entirely by the Apple App Store. We do not have access to your credit card or payment information.

Children’s Privacy

The App is intended for general audiences. The analytics we collect are anonymous and aggregated, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes

If we make changes to this policy, we will post the updated version on this page and change the “Last updated” date.
